Olaf thinks, "I wonder if she even remembers me."<BR><BR> He writes in script, "May 14, 1989."<BR><BR> Olaf lies on the ground and writes: "'Dear Mom, this is your son Olaf.'"<BR><BR> He sits: "I am writing to wish you a Happy Mother's Day."<BR><BR> Olaf walks. "Last week I was invited to go on a fox hunt."<BR><BR> Olaf sits. "You would have been proud of me."<BR><BR> "I knew where the fox was hiding, but I didn't tell anyone." Olaf sits next to a ball of fluff with eyes, and points.<BR><BR> "Remeber how you used to read to us every night?" Seated are Snoopy, Spike, and Olaf.<BR><BR> Olaf roars with laughter as he reads. "My favorite book is still 'Joe Bunny.'"<BR><BR> "Anyway, Mom, have a happy Mother's Day. Greet Dad for me." Olaf walks. PANEL11: "It sure is easier writing to you since you got the fax machine. Love, Olaf." Olaf reads his letter standing in front of a fax machine.<BR><BR>

For a second I thought the second-to-last panel read, “Greet God for me.”
That would have been pretty sad.
