Lydia and Linus sit at their school desks. Linus says, "I watched 'Citizen Kane' again last night . . I like the scene where the older man talks about seeing a girl on a ferry . ."<BR><BR> Linus continues, "He said he only saw her for a second, but for the rest of his life not a month went by when he didn't think of her . . ."<BR><BR> Lydia asks, "And that made you thinks of me?" Linus replies, "Not really."<BR><BR>
Might be the only time that Schulz references Citizen Kane without “spoiling” the ending.
