I need to borrow a notebook, some paper, a ruler and a pencil . . ."<BR><BR> Marcie asks, "Has it ever occurred to you, sir, that those items can be purchased at your nearest store?"<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty frowns and says, "Don't ask me to be maid of honor at your wedding, Marcie . ."<BR><BR>
Has it ever occurred to you, Marcie, that P.Patty is a neglected child (no mother, and a father who doesn’t seem to care if Patty wears sandals in winter) with no money to spend on the school.
