Lucy sits slouched behind her Psychiatric Help booth as Charlie Brown explains, "And that's the way I feel.."<BR><BR> Lucy leans her head on her hand. "Well, look at it this way, Charlie Brown.."<BR><BR> Lucy is in profile. She continues, "We all feel depressed now and then, don't we? Sure, we do.."<BR><BR> Lucy says,"You know how they treated depression years ago? They threw the patients off a cliff into the water below!"<BR><BR> Lucy sits leaning her head on her hands. "The helpers in small boats would rescue them...a few were actually cured this way.."<BR><BR> She says, "I've often thought of trying something a little like that in my own practice...would you be interested?"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown turns to look at a ladder and the inflatable pool beside it. "No, I don't think so, " he answers.<BR><BR>
Not sure if those patients were cured of depression or just too afraid to see a doctor about it in the future.
