The umpire yells, "BALL FOUR!"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown stands on the pitcher's mound and says, "Rats!"<BR><BR> Schroeder walks out to the mound and throws Charlie Brown the baseball.<BR><BR> Charlie Brown says to Schroeder, "What do you think." Lucy listens.<BR><BR> Schroeder says, "When the first performance of Beethoven's ninth symphony was concluded, everyone cheered..."<BR><BR> Schroeder says, "But Beethoven couldn't hear them!"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown and Lucy watch Schroeder walk back to home plate.<BR><BR> Lucy says to Charlie Brown, "I've always wondered what catchers said to pitchers when they met out on the mound."<BR><BR>
Beethoven would have made a great first baseman!
