Snoopy and Charlie Brown lie in bed at night. Charlie Brown reads a book and says, "Dr. Mortimer's voice sank almost to a whisper, and he said, 'Mr. Holmes, they were the footprints of a gigantic hound!'"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown says, "Well, that's enough reading for tonight . ."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown sleeps in bed as Snoopy lies wide awake. Snoopy thinks, "And I never sleep again for the rest of my life . ."<BR><BR>
To this day, no other words in any book, ever, have actually made me shake a bit upon reading them. It probably helps that I have a fear of big, barking dogs…
