Peppermint Patty lies on her bed reading a book.<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty sits at a table and writes.<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty walks up to Marcie's doorstep. She says, "Look, Marcie . . I read the book, and I wrote the report!"<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty says, "I'm gonna hand it in today . ."<BR><BR> Marcie says, "School is out, sir . . It's vacation time." Peppermint Patty asks, "Out?"<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty says, "School is out?" Marcie replies, "Until September . ."<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty says, "But I read the book! I wrote the report!"<BR><BR> Marcie says, "The school is closed, sir . . . there's no one there except the custodian . ."<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty walks away looking sad.<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty walks into the custodian's room and asks, "Anyone want to hear a good book report?"<BR><BR>
Maybe she could get a nomination for “student of summer break.”
