Linus and Charlie Brown ride up an escalator in a department store. Charlie holds a present.<BR><BR> Charlie stands at the counter with a wrapped present. Charlie says, to the saleswoman, "Yes, Ma'am... I 'd like to return something I bought here.."<BR><BR> Linus says, "It's a Christmas present for a girl, but he was too shy to give it to her..." Charlie says, "It was never opened.."<BR><BR> Charlie says, "Yes, I was going to give it to a little red-haired girl in our class.."<BR><BR> Linus says, "You know her?" Charlie says, "You're here mom?"<BR><BR> Charlie says, "You work here? In this store? You're her mom, and you work here?"<BR><BR> Linus says, "When we first saw you we thought you were her older sister.."<BR><BR> Charlie and Linus leave the store. Charlie says, "Why did you tell her that?" Linus says, "She let you return the present, didn't she?"<BR><BR>
Geez, Charlie Brown! You could have given the present to her mother to give to the little red-haired girl.
