Charlie Brown, with hat and glove, winds and pitches...<BR><BR> Looking up and towards the outfield after the ball is hit...<BR><BR> Lucy, playing outfield, looks up and says, "I got it!"<BR><BR> Lucy, having run all the way in behind the pitcher's mound with Charlie Brown watching says, "It's all mine! I got it!"<BR><BR> Lucy, still running in, toppling over Charlie Brown and screams, "I got it!"<BR><BR> Lucy, still charging, now toward home plate looks at Schroeder, the catcher and asks, "Who are you?"<BR><BR> Facing each other, Shroeder replies, "I'm the catcher..." Lucy says, "Oh, that's right... Hi!"<BR><BR> Shroeder looks up and says, " What about the fly ball?" Lucy replies, "The what?"<BR><BR> Lucy is shown getting bonked on the head with the ball.<BR><BR> Charlie Brown is shown flattened on the mound in disarray and says, "What I think i'll do is go home right now, feed my dog, eat a light supper, and go to bed early..."<BR><BR>
Can someone else please tell me that this is Schroeder’s last appearance? I didn’t quite get it yet, because I’m still wondering why Schroeder didn’t just catch the ball himself.
