JPSteve, I don’t know that song, but a Rubber Ball (Bobby Vee) will come bouncing back to you which in this case I don’t think will happen
bigG I’d add Owner of a Lonely Heart – Yes, Tears of a Clown – Smokey Robinson, and for good measure You’re No Good, covered by Linda Rostadt. I don’t think Love Is a Battlefield would apply in Snoopy’s case though.
Is the car in this 1965 Peanuts Sunday strip a Ford Falcon (The Peanuts gang used to do TV commercials for this car in the early 1960’s before their Peanuts TV specials came to be) or a Ford Thunderbird?
Would Snoopy rather rabies? We had a dog who hated baths, until I started using a hair dryer on her fur. She loved it, but still she didn’t like baths!
Here’s a picture of another ’69 Ford Galaxiehttp://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ze9Sxki1x8A/ThvJIIc4IyI/AAAAAAAAH04/JzPOr8p2nPY/s1600/1966%2BFord%2BGalaxie%2B500%2B4-Door%2BHardtop.jpg
I don’t know how, but somehow dogs and cats ALWAYS seem to know when they’re going to the vet, or in some cases, to a classroom full of kids.I’ve done that to my cat a few times, and my dad always held onto him while I instructed the kids about what to do when they meet a strange cat or dog, which is let the animal make the first move; if they sniff you and then rub you, then they like you.
Reminds me of one of my favorite “Far Sides”. A dog is sitting in a car talking out the window to a cat. He says; “Oh boy, I am going to the vets and I am going to get tutored”.
This was originally published in b&w, which made the lack of snow, compared to the prior strip (yesterday), less obvious. It isn’t a jump in the archive (which I first thought it was).

Every time my dog gets out, we have to do this to get him home. Never catches on.

Snoopy must know these rabies shots are very important to his health. I hope Charlie Brown gives him his favorite food afterward: pizza!
george almost 13 years ago
judging from the bird on the rear its a T-bird. But I could be wrong.

I remember this from Mad Magazine! The " Ford Foulcar" was so small it would only fit “Peanuts!”
