It’s nice to have another heartbeat in the house with you when nobody else is home. In some ways dogs are better than children. You do have to feed them and pay the vet bills; but you don’t have to pay for them to go to college.

if you love something, let it go. If it comes back it’s yours forever. if it doesn’t, hunt it down and kill it.

my cat is perfectly free to leave me anytime she wants.she’s an alley cat and she spends most of her time outdoors. in the garden. I rely on love though and not bondage so as not she will leave me.
