The dailies of late have been about Marcy being such a terrible player for Peppermint Patty’s team. I think my points about Lucy at least making an occasional effort is being buttressed by this strip. It will be nice tomorrow for the cycle to hit another topic though.

She should take lessons from Marcie, who caught a fly ball the other day

“have got”? It’s “What else do you have?” What’s with this “have got” junk? From where did this junk language come? It’s everywhere: “Got milk?”, “Got beer?”, etc, etc. Americans have trashed the English language.
