I preferred Snoopy in the old timey strips when he was still a dog. He was funny much more often in those old strips. This one is just dumb and could have been done with a human character much better. In these latter strips, there is nothing Snoopy does that has anything to do with being a dog. Schulz had plenty of wonderful human characters that could have handled all of Snoopy’s bits, except his friendship with Woodstock. I never got why he used Snoopy this way.
