I’ve been giving this some thought and honestly if her Dad worked at night, why didn’t he just hire a babysitter for Peppermint Patty? Is it her fault that Snoopy slept in the wrong room and her house got robbed? Yes, but this all could have been avoided if her Dad just hired a babysitter for his daughter.

I’ve actually done this before. I told the teacher that I had slipped while adjusting my seat.

If this comic were drawn today, Patty would be at home setting up a “go fund me” page instead of in school…

I’m surprised that her teacher has not asked the guidance counselor to intervene. That little girl needs someone to take care of her.
