This sums up Snoopy well: he often forgets other people’s troubles simply because he’s so lost in his own weird little world. It’s likely why he can write a library’s worth of novels. .but can’t remember his own owners name.
Why does Linus loan his blanket out if he needs it so bad. Remember “A Boy Named Charlie Brown” when he lent it to Charlie Brown when he left for the state spelling bee and had to follow him there suffering from withdrawal.
I think that you have a double-fault there Snoopy. First fault, you lost the blanket. And the second fault is that you haven’t shown any remorse for loosing it.
This strip shows an unfortunate side to our Snoop dog. Are beagles noted for their unfeeling ways? The dog breed tends to gravitate toward humans, but inbreeding may have removed that quality.
I don’t remember where the list is of Charles Schulz tributes, but this may be one delayed one. https://www.seattletimes.com/comics-king/?feature_id=curtis/2022-11-29

Interesting…a book that will not have the phrase “It was a dark and stormy night”!

Snoopy had better get Linus blanket back before he does something really bad.

That instruction in tennis would be difficult to decipher, Snoopy. Tell Linus that he does not need his blanket considering the challenging demeanor.

Just pound him already, Linus. He’s not gonna do it.

You can probably thank Lucy for instilling these poor values – and the urge to hit a dog – in Linus.
