I have enough scars, both physically and emotionally, to have learned to pick my fights.

Some things just aren’t worth fighting about. Others are worth taking on, even though you know you’re going to take a pounding.

Fast forward, the EPA wins the case against CB, and the victim, the tree addresses CB and eats a kite in front of CB. It’s a turn down day.

One note: in order for a boy to bite a chunk out of a tree, even with incredibly strong teeth, the tree had to have been diseased. Charlie’s defense could be that he was performing an arborist service to remove the diseased portion of the tree.
