If it wasn’t for joggers, they would never find dead bodies on “Law & Order” (and SVU, CSI, NCIS, and every other similar show).

Or dying while jogging. Like Jim Fixx, who is credited for popularizing jogging… died of a heart attack while jogging.

I remember when jogging became popular in the mid to late 70s…

I remember the running craze in the 1970s. Given the now-overlooked, obesity crisis it might not be a bad idea to get back to it.

At age 75 I don’t jog anymore, but I do walk 4.5 miles every morning. I see more women out jogging than I do men. I guess jogging isn’t macho.

In my neighborhood there are many female joggers, and the majority of them are sooooo nice to watch in motion.

I often wonder if people who jog every day realize that they don’t have to.

For me it’s that “runners high” after about running for 5 miles that you get.

Snoopy, how do you feel about the song “Chariots of Fire”?

Great song to jog or run to.

The runner’s high is one of the best feelings I’ve experienced. Not THE best of course, but top 10.
