Stephan says, "I don't get it. I asked Mary Worth a question yesterday and she still hasn't responded." Goat says, "Serial strips are different than humor strips, Steph. The pacing can be pretty slow. Conversations can go on forever. And they don't end with funny punch lines." Rat says, "Sounds like 'Pearls Before Swine.'" Stephan says, "Do you mind?" Pig says, "Move, Mary Worth, move!"
What I remember about ‘Mary Worth’ is that it was one of the LAST comic strips that had a consistently dramatic storyline. YES, I’m that old!!
