Rat says, "So?" Pastis says, "So to make a few extra bucks, I'm gonna introduce a new, smiling character into the strip...His name is Bippy and I'd appreciate if you could make him feel at home...Any questions? Rat says, Yeah. Will Bippy keep smiling if I kick him in the oompaloompas?" Pastis says, "Nobody's kicking anybody in the oompaloompas." Rat says, "Hey, Bippy, smile if you want to be kicked in the oompaloompas."
