Hope Goat does this: secretly insert a “USA Today” into a newspaper that DOES have comics while Rat & Guard Duck aren’t looking.

Let’s see — the NYT has comics on its web site but not in the paper. Meanwhile, two of the best comics on this site don’t appear in newspapers (Pibgorn and The New Adventures of Queen Victoria.)

Rat and LGD seem to be waging war on Paris. (Longtime fans of this strip will know what I’m talking about.)

When is Goat going to start defending himself? I’d like to see that one. Maybe he hires Beetle Bailey or somebody from Doonesbury to help him out.

pastis is rewriting the monty python sketch, “the self defense class”.

Remember, “smoke ’em if you got ’em”? It goes with, “Old soldiers never die, except maybe from lung, kidney or liver cancer.”

Do the creators of your favorite comics on Go Comics a favor if you don’t get them in your local paper. Click the advertising links on occasion. GoComics gets paid for those links bringing in trafic to the advertisers and in turn can pass some of that on to the creators of the comics.

I assume tomorrow is USA Today?

People still read newspapers? Maybe download them, but actual newspapers?

They do too have comics. It’s called the editorial page.

How would you wrap fish, pack china, or light charcoal(without using lighter fluid?)

The NYT does have funnies…they just run them in text form.

And I second Captain Kiddeo’s view of Endtown 2.0. Only discovered it a month or two ago and it’s become my favorite strip on the entire gocomics site.

The WSJ does have a comic called “Salt and Pepper” butmany would have it hard to find and understand.

I’m wondering what LGD will use next.

A mine? A mortar? A RPG?

I guess I’ll have to wait and see.
