Ahem – some of us do like both the New York Times and NASCAR. New Hampshire Speedway, Pocono Raceway and Watkins Glen are located in NH, PA and (upstate) NY, so not all of the tracks are in the deep South.

Some of you are putting way too much effort into convincing Alxikakos of their error. Cast not your pearls before swine.

In case you haven’t noticed (probably not), there are several nascar drivers that can turn right and would do very well @The Ring.

Or, we could teach the people who love NASCAR to read.

Unfortunately NASCAR wastes time fining drivers for tweeting during a red flag stop, but doesn’t suspend drivers that deliberately cause accidents that cause serious injury. Go figure.

I think a Rat has taken over the country

Pastis wrote a comment in his last book explaining why he reverses the view sometimes. He says he does it when the there’s a switch in the order they speak. Here, in the first panels, Rat talks first, but in the last panel Goat does. He can’t make them switch seats, so he reverses the viewing angle.

I once had a wise civics teacher who said, “The poltical spectrum in this country is not a straight line, it’s closer to this [a circle with a small protion of the bottom open] because the extremists on both sides are just like each other, both justify breaking the law for their ideals and are willing to harm others to prove themselves correct.”

That would be so unlike NASCAR… Actually entertaining.
