Rat: Hey, Pig, I'd like you to meet Skippy the Scorpion. PIg: Aww... What a friendly l'il guy. He wants to shake hands. Rat: Not a handshake. Pig: Nature... So... Confusing...
This is a switch…the character called “Skippy” survives a strip..Oh, and too bad for Pig. I’m not sorry because Pig probably going to be fine the next day.
Someone this stupid deserves to die. Let him die and replace him with Cuddly Curmen the Caiman, or something else. We already have the crocs for stupid, pig is redundant and obnoxious.
@ several posters stating that the smaller the scorpion, the potent the venom: not always true. We have small ones in Florida and they are less than a bee sting..Pig was just being his naive, friendly self.

Had Skippy in my house last week blending in with the kitchen floor. Bang! Bang! May Skippy rest in peace.

I met Skippy’s big cousin overseas. Didn’t get along well at all, and at least I didn’t try to shake his “hand”! (Oh, BTW: poor Pig!)

He put the sting on you, Pig.

In general, with scorpions, the smaller they are, the more dangerous. So I’d say Pig is in trouble.

Rat runs with his own kind…the abominable.

Look at how the purple haze around Pig intensifies as he is stung. Good effect!

Like I’ve always said, “Why do you think they call them scare-pians?!”

No matter what feelings you have for Pig, this strip is a perfect definition of the phrase, “Too stupid to live.”
mbreed184 about 12 years ago
Thus leaving less food available for the crocs…

To the “self proclaimed” Trusted Mechanic: You’re right. That “dumb” Pig is, sweet, kind, trusting, innocent & naive.

Am I the only one thinking this should have been about a fist bump?
And also why didn’t scorpy say anything since everyone is suppose to anamorphic?
bmonk about 12 years ago
This reminds me of the fable of the Scorpion and the Frog.
