Pearls Before Swine by Stephan Pastis for June 10, 2013
Transcript:
Goat: Hi. Today I thought I'd read you a little Shakespeare from this bar stool. Ahh, you say, where's the humor in that? I'm reading the bard in a bar! Rat: Oh, gawd. Pastis: Make it stop. Guard Duck: I could have him taken out, sir. The entire "Pearls" cast is in prison, except for Goat, who now must carry the humor of the strip while the other characters just watch.
Shakespeare was such a potty mouth. (He’s responsible for the expression “the beast with two backs”, for instance.)
