Quiet time came early today…

If the Chinese read from back to front, Pig, then how come the books’ titles are on the back? Not to mention there’s a page that says in English “(title of book) Chinese” at the b bottom?

I will now spoil the Chinese version of Moby Dick by revealing the ending::“Call me Ishmael.”

I’d try to explain this conundrum for Pig, but to do so I’d have to begin at the beginning; —so, why bother?

That dumb Pig only makes sense when he buttons his lips.

So is Arabic. Having tried to learn it (still working on it), it is doggone hard to retrain your eyeballs to track that way.

If you’re left-handed, you naturally tend to want to read (and write) that way. You have to learn to read like right handers have determined. (left handers:, only 10% of the population)

I always found the best way to solve a problem at work was to work backwards. You know what the problem is and just follow the trail backwards until you find the problem.

Classical Chinese mysteries tell you who did it at the beginning of the story, they also include the execution in the story.

A problem with Hebrew is that a many of the vowels are omitted. However, soon you can recognize a word just by glancing at it. The same goes with Chinese. Y jst hv t lrn th dmn wrds. ts tht smpl!
