Rat: What do you think is the key to having a successful career? Goat: To find what you love to do. And figure out a way to make it happen. Rat: I love getting drunk. To make it happen, I open my mouth. Goat: Let me re-word that. Rat: I'm a huge @*#@*@# success!

Rat is a drunk, not an alcoholic. Alcoholics attend meetings.

If everybody only did what they love to do, most careers would be unfilled.

Unfortunately, you can love to do something without having the ability to do it even moderately well. Of course, that doesn’t apply to Rat and getting drunk.

For some reason, I’m now picturing Rat with orange hair…

Find out what you love but if it’s not lucrative then find something else you love. Making lots of money and enjoying your career are equally important. Money makes a lot of things possible, for example buying groceries and living in a nice house.
Mr. Rat, you don’t need to get drunk because marijuana is legal now in many states.

Rat should cross over to “Wizard of Id” and meet the drinking master.

Find what you love, figure out how to make a living at it, go bankrupt.

I don’t know about a blanket kibosh, Al. I’ve actually seen several pantsuits where I would ‘go there’…exploration was on my mind.
My cosmopolitan extended-barrio has only one Playboy-class person who wears such. She has nearly started riots…old RW ranchers, slobbering on themselves and gabbling under their breaths…a couple of the local atv cowboys needed first aid, but she’s stingy with mouth-to-mouth with strangers. I took the old guy’s nine-gallon hat and fanned him with it.

Well, as long as you keep your standards high, Rat
.
This reminds me of the experiment where they put a rat in a cage with morphine, and the rat overdoses until he dies. Our Rat doesn’t need the cage.

Success is all in the measuring.By the measure of what I could be, I’m an abject failure. By the measure of what everyone thought I’d be, I’m a resounding success. The truth is always somewhere in the middle.

Pig’s success would be managing to eat too much without being sick.

The epitome of American Exceptionalism! …except, of course, he needs to put on 100lbs or so.

My, my, my! Rat knows what he’s doing, whether you approve or not, Goat!
On the other hand, I’m not so sure I’d say Rat has “a successful career.”
