Rat is a coward — unlike someone else — if the only thing keeping him from being a corrupt politician is the fear of being caught.

You gotta give Rat credit for one thing…he’s crooked and HE ADMITS IT, unlike a certain Cheeto-dyed, loofah faced clown in Washington! HE hides behind an insane press secretary, and his phone, and just sends out crazy rants on Twitter!

If Rat needs a campaign manager, Hawthorne from “Sherman’s Lagoon” could probably find the time. At the right price.

Huh. The soon-to-retire mayor in our town has worn a red bow-tie just like that for the last 12 years. It’s his signature thang, ya know?

He’s got my vote!

Drat, Rat! You missed our local elections by two days (Tuesday). Your more open bribe-taking might have made you a winning mayoral candidate in our never-changing area….

Do you realize that (most) all newspapers serve one side and vilify the other?

90% of the media is owned by 15 billionaires. So, who cares? Even the National Enquirer is owned by Rupert Murdoch.

Yep, N.C. Senate President pro tempore Phil “His Majesty” Berger is right there with Rat. He’d love it if The News & Observer sat down and shut up. Those pesky local reporters only get in the way of his bid to become the first coronated King of North Carolina.

That’s the case now. The most corrupt cities aren’t the big cities, but the smaller satellite cities near them. Because the large newspapers are focused on New York, LA, Chicago, and nobody pays attention to the towns near them – some of which have a couple of hundred thousand people, and lots of money.

Corruption is Rat’s strong point.
