This is heart breaking. Life is messy and the classic movie happy endings are rare. Time sure seems to smooth things out, at least for me. I’m really hoping it gets better for Al. ❤️

A new reality. He’s gay.

It helped me to meditate the object of my affection/lust/yearning as flighty, inane, unreliable, unaffectionate, etc., all of which traits I knew well of them. Really, their main attractions to me were their unavailability and their lack of reciprocal attraction. Plus they were married to a wealthy person.

Grey rocking often involves behaviors like:

Shrugging and nodding.

Using one-word answers and/or noncommittal phrases and responses like “eh,” “mhm,” or “uh-huh”

Avoiding eye contact.

Responding briefly, and without elaboration, to direct questions.

Ending or leaving interactions as quickly as is safely possible.

if he confronts you or gets defensive, red flags, then you have a good reason to end contact.

C’mon – start seeing someone else, already…

I fear it’s time to focus as much as possible on sports and physical activities, so to think about him as little as possible.

One can’t help who they fall in love with. ♪You made me love you♪
