I wounder what century it was when Marigold went to camp? Also what did she look like when she was young?

What can we say:Lovely.(Can I gag now?)

I love Marigold’s expression in panel 3.

Among humans in America, camps (in this sense of the word) started around 1900, in reaction to the industrial world seeming to draw modern children away from Nature-with-a-capital-N. But we don’t know enough about Marigold’s world, or how the Hnau there feel about any dangers which may seem inherent in their own culture(s), to guess at what may have happened there, or when it may have happened
