Marigold: What is going on? Phoebe: You cast a forgetting spell on yourself. You wanted to forget this book, so we could read it together. Marigold: My stars! What IS that thing?! Phoebe: You might've given it too much juice. Marigold: I have no memory of having done that.
One thing that went away after the reboot was when Marigold decided to be Phoebe’s best friend because she wanted to, rather than out of an obligation. I’m thinking maybe that might be the outcome of this.
