My mom liked a lot of stuff that was considered “cool.” She was a cool mom.

I think you’re pretty cool, Phoebe’s mom. And it’s not just because you’re a sly caricature of a certain artist..

The car’s name: Porsche (After Dr. Ing. h.c. [“Doktor Ingenieur Honoris Causa” = “Doctor of Engineering Honorary degree”] Ferdinand Porsche.)

Hmmm….where to begin. 1. Portia was a female attorney in Shapespeare’s Elizabethan-age (late 1500s to early 1600s) play, “The Merchant of Venice” and is therefore considered a female icon; 2. you do know that that’s NOT how the car’s name is spelled, right?; 3. Phoebe has talked about “cred” before because she’s bedeviled by Dakota; and 4. although you say “nothing wrong with that” in regard to the cred you describe, why does it sound like a dis?

And finally, friends do not belong to us, Phoebe. They stay because they want to, which is SO much better.
