Seriously, who needs a Pastel Unicorn when ya got the real thing?

Don’t worry, Phoebe, there’ll be a Pastel Unicorns movie with actual pastel unicorns in it in a few years! After “Skinny Pretty Non-Unicorns Form A Rock Band” and “Skinny Pretty Non-Unicorns Play Sports”.

Quite often, movie versions of your favorite TV shows are a big let down.

Depriving Unicorn-Americans of roles by human-washing the characters….

Even though it’s a rerun, Equestria Girls 3 is coming in a couple of months. So it still works.

Rampent comercializem anyone?Nothing new. In my day you could find it every Saturday morning.

The intended message(s) Dana’s making still stands, too. As I recall, she didn’t take to EqG too well.

I thought at first the original punchline was, “Capitalism is so confusing,” but I looked it up and it is a rerun.

Don’t worry, Pheobe. “Skinny Pretty Non-Unicorns” will be pretty aggressively mediocre, but it’ll pick way up in “Skinny Pretty Unicorns Form a Rock Band”.

Oh boy.

Even critics will have to admit “Skinny Pretty Unicorns Form a Rock Band" pulled off an epic character redemption the likes of which Darth Vader could only dream.

Phoebe, you know you don’t have to play or collect merch for everything you watch and enjoy. Right?

I’m not so sure that EG 3 will be a simple re-run. At least I would not define it so. I think this one will see a different main character, and I’m guessing that some roles will be largely if not totally reversed.
