Many biologists believe that humans and the other great apes should be in the same genus, and we’re certainly very closely related, whereas perissodactyls (odd-toed ungulates, like horses) and artiodactyls (even-toed ungulates, like unicorns and also including pigs, hippos and whales) are worlds apart.
