That glowing horn in the second panel… Is marigold making some sort of magic hologram of King Sprinkle?

So when did unicorns come in after the stars?

What kind of sprinkles? I like the chocolate ones. Or are we talking incontinence here?

Of course the stars are older. That’s obvious. So then, like Phoebe, I would definitely read unicorn textbooks too. Short and straight to the point. Bluntly as it happened.

This looks familiar. Is it a re-run or just the a similar idea done differently?

If and when Phoebe does a school report about Scotland, she will no doubt mention that the unicorn is the national animal.

King Sprinkle looks kind of like King Sombra, with the color and mane-style.

The original strip had Marigold with stars in her eyes. I loved that look.

Ant the ant colonies beneath came to know it as the ‘Dire and Mysterious Cloppety-Cloppety Doom From Above,’ when all chaos briefly reigned.

Nice redo of one of my very favorite comic strips ever. I =loved= the star-eyed Marigold in the original, though. That was when Marigold was more mysterious and wilder.

The Original had Marigold with stars in her eyes… Stunning.

This one was worth a repeat. I am not sure what I did before a young girl and her unicorn friend came along….

I do remember King Sprinkle the Thunderous and his anti-star campaign, but I thought Marigold’s recounting of the tale ended differently.

If i expand it too much it becomes pixelated, but you can see still see the stars.

At least one Unicorn made it to the stars!_Monoceros _ is Greek name for The Unicorn. It is a constellation to the left of Orion and above Canis Major. (If you are south of the equator, it is to the right and below.)Canis Minor rides on his back.

Unfortunately, it is made up of mostly dim stars. Orion and Canis Major get all the attention because they have such bright stars…including Sirius which is the brightest.
