Actually, the Sphinx we know (the one who tells riddles) was originally from GREEK mythology. The Egyptian Sphinx is most likely not meant to be the same thing, and was probably imagined independently from the Greek Sphinx. (Like how Chinese dragons were imagined independently from European dragons.)

That is to say, her ancestors came from a part of the Unicorn Lands with a curtain that lets out in Scotland.

Also, considering that Marigold has been around (at the very least) since the ice age, that means her ancestors were around before Scotland was even CALLED Scotland. Hell, they were probably alive when South America and Australia were still connected to Antarctica.

This kind of makes me want to learn more about Egypt and Scotland. The most I learned was from watching “The mummy”, and Disney’s “Brave”.

I hope that slang dies in my lifetime. It’s grammatically ugly.

Then again, so was “broke” once.

So I wonder if Marigold shoots the breeze with Scrooge McDuck and/or Ranger Blue (RPM).

“woke” is a synonym for “stupid” so why would unicorns want to be stupid?

    “woke”

    “wokest”

I would had used the word “awake” and “awakest” instead of the ones I had quoted above this paragraph (“awake” instead of “woke”; “awakest” instead of “wokest”) if I were involved in the making of this cartoon.

I don’t really consider myself “woke”, but I heard someone say “woke don’t mean broke” at some point, and I definitely ain’t broke! :)
