I dread mu music being called “Old people music” but its going to happen. Remember when “Old” used to be Glen Miller?

This old dude prefers three chords and the truth to be melodic instead of angry, but hey, I’ve always been an oddball.

This reminds me of one of my misadventures in truck driving school. I was trying to get the rhythm of the double clutch upshift. I once asked my instructor, “So its One, Two, not A One-a and a Two-a?” He was surprised that someone as young as I me remembered Lawrence Welk. I was 52 at the time and he was at least as old as I was.

Sue looks more ‘punk’ then I remember her being. What is the meaning of this?

I wasn’t aware punk constituted as “old people” music now. Last I checked, that was still fairly soundly classic rock and the like.

But then again I also don’t listen to much punk, so…

I remember Reader’s Digest reporting that Welk’s license plate was, no joke, “NA1NA2”.(on a side note, I saw the license BAABAA once, and was confused until I realized it was on a black Jeep.)
