How many more times are they going to say “Punk”?

That’s very quick arithmetic on Phoebe’s part !

I can’t believe I didn’t think of this joke already:

“Punk is nothing but death and crime and the rage of the beast!”

You can’t apply math to music. I once tried to mathematically deduce the most beautiful song that could ever be written, and all I got was a single note repeating endlessly.

I just found out why knowing three chords sounded so familiar. It’s from the song that’s part of the Cheech & Chong “Earache My Eye” routine:

I’m so bloody rich ha ha ha haI own apartment buildings and shopping centers ha ha ha haAnd I only know three chords ha ha ha ha

Guitar George, he knows all the chords. I think I know about 10. Why if I started practicing again I could get back to not having to look at my fingers.

At least he isn’t harping about it!

The nice thing about playing ‘Punk’ is you don’t even have to play the three chords correctly.

Now we can add grey to Stevie’s hair.

Once Stewart Copeland was asked why the Police didn’t join the punk scene at the time. His reply was: “ because we knew how to play our instruments” (with apologies to East Bay Ray who definitely KNOWS how to play guitar.)

Some of those punks get pretty tricky – D Boon definitely played more than three chords.

After they get the band together, I hope the goblins write all the lyrics…….
