Imagine them both in black and white. Like when Disney started making those old cartoons. Both Phoebe and Marigold animated the same way Mickey Mouse was.

I believe that Calvin’s dad made that black-n-white versus color joke back when C and H were still pretty new.

I recently saw a film that was made in the 2000s but it took place in 1945 and was made to look like it was made in 1945. Even down to the aspect ratio and music. Very well made insofar as using all the clichés and tropes, it was a mashup of various movies from the 1940s, but more an exercise of retro-style film-making. Otherwise it was a pretty crappy story with nothing original except profanity and nudity of the 2000s. But those uniforms looked spiffy.

I wonder if I can be hired as the painter.

I now expect any time-trip to the early 19th century will abide by this canon, Dana.
