Here in the UK they’re called blinkers, not blinders. Hence the term “blinkered vision” means seeing only straight ahead, and not noticing what’s going on around you.
I would actually like to see Marigold interact with a horse. I can imagine several funny scenarios – everything from failure to communicate, to falling for a stallion who is “dumb as a rock”.
