Just a thought, but how about covering “Lowder” with duct tape and write your own name on the tape?

Just use a permanent marker and really thick letters.

Rubbing alcohol or oil wold get it out. Yup

I changed my name to 103CEJ so I would have a vanity plate on my car.

There is definitely an easier way. I wouldn’t put that much effort into a used $5 cooler.

Why should it matter if a different name is on it?

If you know what kind of permanent marker was used, one trick is to scribble over it with the same kind of marker. The solvent in the new ink will dissolve the binder in the old ink. Clean off the scribble before it dries.

Nah. It’d be easier & more fun to use a permanent marker to write “Yell” on top, change “Lowder” into “Louder,” in thicker letters to disguise the “W”, and end it with “I’m old!” ;-)

Get an erasable marker. Write over the permanent marker. The erasable mark has a bit of solvent in the ink that allows erasing, it will work onto the permanent marker ink and lift it out. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.

Hydrochloric acid?

Write a “c” in front of it, and change the “l” to “h.” Then everyone will think you have a cooler full of chowder.

Paint it over with white paint. Why is this so hard?

Spit. Spit works.

Melt it down and start over.
