They may not be steak, but franks and beans are filling, and good, especially when the franks are stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon.

The first world is entitled and ungrateful; petulant and wimpy; reactive and illogical. We seem to have the money, plenty, and time to be total jerks.
I am just grateful that there’s food on the table… and I like leftovers !
I remember when I was kid, my Grandma asked which I wanted for lunch; a peanut butter and jelly, or a bologna sandwich. I answered bologna. She said, “Well, you’re getting peanut butter and jelly.”
Does anyone remember “Beanie Weenies”? I can’t find them in the store anymore.
