Well, at least it wasn’t onions and garlic…

My favorite brand of scrapple has pig snouts listed as one of the main ingredients. Yummy! Yummy! Yummy! Pig noses in my tummy!

Ulp! Too early in the morning (make that before I’ve had breakfast) for this kind of banter!

We have thousands of them. My neighbor found 35 in his yard one morning. He built traps and kept the little ones in pens and fattened them on day-old bread and roasted them. They’re just hogs that have regained their wild characteristics to survive. Makes them similar to medieval swine, except after modern breeding, they’re a LOT bigger.

Many, many years ago my dad got some canned rattlesnake meat. My mum wouldn’t kiss him until he’d brushed his teeth!

Earl is headed out to buy more jerky.

It’s the boar bristle mustache that is a turn off.

I worked on a “pork” farm and to this day can tell if they’ve used boar meat in sausage (a common place to “hide” it)

Wild boar was the very best pork I ever ate.

There’s a jerky outlet near me that sells jerky made from fish, duck, kangaroo, ostrich, gator, buffalo, and boar, among other animals.

For a minute I thought Opal was going to imply that Earl WAS a feral swine.
