There ain’t anybody who likes the grammar Nazis

It’s like she don’t care that Grampa is funner than her.

Well, the actual word is „funnier”.

Roscoe is thinking, “I don’t know what to say.”

Nelson’s next line, “Maybe some milk and fresh baked cookies will help me reconsider.”

Nelson has a point, but should keep that secret—he’ll never get treats that way.

Don’t even get me started off gifting.

Roscoe is thinking “As long as I get my food who cares if they are both nuts” ;-)

Roscoe is probably thinking, “I figured that out a long time ago.”

Isn’t it Funnier?

It’s true that Grandpa’s are funner than Grandma’s, but Grandma’s are more cuddly.

Opal rests Nelson’s case FOR him. She’s Grandma Buzzkill! No joy too small to be snuffed out like a cigarette butt!

I like Nelson’s defensive truth-telling here. Quite right, he doesn’t know whether she heard him say that. Perhaps she just read his lips or his mind.
