The real deal; at least three remotes to run the modern set-up. Cable, speaker bar and tv. At least one in sequestered in the sofa cushions or under the dog. Yeah, maybe one would can be programmed to do it all but the batteries just died.
Take out the batteries then put them back in (in the correct orientation!), twist them around a bit to make sure they are making proper contact, then close it up. If that doesn’t work, it probably needs new batteries. Those things are TOUGH.

Personally, I like pointing the wrong end of the remote to get the same effect.

I usually drop-kick it AFTER it refuses to work. Sometimes that fixes it, sometimes it doesn’t. But it always makes me feel better.

The batteries are loose. The question is whether it’s the remote’s or Opal’s batteries.

I KNOW, right?? Our remotes throw a hissy and refuse to work whenever their batteries die. I say, life us tuff; get over it.
