Look at the bright side Opal, he could have said “Bigfoot”.

Earl is SpongeBob and Opal is Squidward: the former has imagination whereas the latter doesn’t.

I like the picture of a salmon about to be eaten by a bear and the caption is “A journey of 1000 miles can end very, very badly.”

I didn’t know Opal snored! LOL

Yesterday my three-year-old granddaughter said, “PawPaw’s silly.”

“But you’re still fond of me, right?”

“Eh.”

(I am rather fond of her and the other two.)

Makes sense to me. When I want to go to my happy place I wear my Hawaiian shirt and shorts around the house.

I think Roscoe loved the comment, it appears that he’s smiling in that final panel!

Imagination is gift we should all enjoy, where would the comics be without it?

At least Earl didn’t say “Well, Roscoe, somehow a hyena has made it’s way to the river. Let’s head upstream!”

Jeez, Opal is starting to sound like my mother and she put Dad in an early grave and made the rest of us nuts. I’ll be back in a few weeks to see if the artist is off this trend.
