Not sure I can envision Earl in a beard… specially a long beard like Lorenzo Snow and Joseph F. Smith (fifth and sixth presidents of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; latter being the nephew of the Joseph Smith).
Some can grow attractive beards, some cannot. Some look good wearing a beard and other are much better looking without any form of beard or mustache. And know the difference.

Do it if it makes you feel better but it won’t be an improvement. Perfection can’t be improved.

I grew a beard in 1976 because I had essentially no chin.
I shaved it off five years later and I had TWO no chins.
I grew it back.

You don’t really know if it’s better until you change

change is not always better unless it is the oil in your car, a kid’s diaper, or money back from a cup of coffee.

Or she could spend some time with her kid, instead of always fobbing him off on Opal and Earl.

Beards. I started growing mine, when I was discharged from the Marines. That was in 1970. And I’ve never shave it off since then.
