Yeah. The tail end not only might pummel you, but it may change the atmospheric ambiance…

It’s a problem when it is a LARGE short-haired dog. Getting hit with that tail can hurt.

Dogs are wonderful beings.

Nelson, that’s just because you don’t have a tail of your own. (I can still remember when I realized that our cats were surprised to discover that we’re even aware of their tails.)

I can tell how happy they are by when their whole body wags.

Roscoe knows who opens the cans.

Back in the day, we had a dog of a certain size, that would clear off the coffee table with his tail.

Unfortunately out in public these days you can’t see people’s smiles beneath their masks

If a dog is wagging its tail that means they’re excited. Could be excited in a good way (for you)- or in a bad way (for you) meaning they see you as a target to attack.

Especially when the toots come out…

What’s not to like though is that both ends occasionally produce a foul smell.

Neither end of a dog’s smile smells particularly pleasant…

I loved it when my dog would wag here tail so fast that her back feet wouldn’t stay on the ground.

The tails of our happy labs were wicked to be near.

Tail wag is best. Face smile could be start of snarl and snap.

It’s the winks you have to worry about.
