Roscoe is hoping someone will make him a sandwich also.

Hey Opal, Roscoe is licking his chops. At least make the dog happy!

A sandwich should be within Earl’s capabilities unless she yells at him about bread crumbs.

Now I’m hungry.

Let him make his own sandwich and whatever it is, he can’t complain about it.

The gag alone makes this strip better than most of the rest pretty much every day of the week. Throw in the reaction expressions in P4 in this one and you raise it to yet another level. Great stuff.

A slice of cheese on a piece of bread or some crackers. Garnish as inspired by what you find in the fridge. Drop a little on the floor for Rosco. Ask her if she’d like one too. If she doesn’t, you have two for yourself.

Last panel: Opal’s flared nostrils remind me of approaching a tunnel. Dimming lights.
