Yep, I need to take a break from all that hard work.
Wasn’t Lil Abner starved after a hard day of testing mattresses?
Those thoughts are so hard to find in all those cobwebs
He’s trying to figure out why you park in a driveway yet drive in a parkway. That may take him awhile.
The older you get, the harder it is.
Try not to collect too many thoughts, the thought police may descend on you!
First you collect them and then you let them drain out while you nap. Repeat as needed.
Brain strain is a drain.
I guess I’m not the only one.
Opal would snark, “Well, of course it’s hard. Those thoughts are all scattered through your brain!”
After I wake up from the last nap.
Gotta sleep on it, Nelson!
After I wake up I’ll paste them in a scrapbook.
Earl is becoming one of my role models.
I find that truly alarming.
I guess one would have thoughts to be collected, first off. Secondly, don’t spill collected thoughts all over social media
It’s hard work…especially if you keep getting interrupted!
Earl you need a Harry Potter Pensieve Bowl ;-)
My thoughts are like cats. They can’t be herded.
Because his thoughts are so few and scattered.
you might lose them though. :J
In other words…….. “GO AWAY KID”
No doubt,earl…no doubt…
Absolutely
Baby, let me sleep on it and I’ll give you an answer in the morning.
Like herding cats, more than two and it becomes really hard
Heavy thoughts.
I am a bit scattered. I gather my thoughts with a leaf blower.
“…. during which time, they will escape again. It’s a neverending cycle.”
“My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.” – Hedly Lamarr from Blazing Saddles
Atta boy Earl……
…and then rest his eyes for a while
An everyday thing for this old geezer, and thankfully all grandchildren are employed college graduates or working on their Doctorates.
Don’t forget the punctuations….
Earl you can’t organize something that doesn’t exist. It’s like trying to herd unicorns.

After I collect my thoughts, then I have to sort and organize them.
