My favourite thing is to be talking to someone when a hand comes up and then the conversation dies while the other person “has” to take this call.

You feel like you need to join in with some of these folks talking so loud.

I know way too much about the romantic and “romantic” lives of people when they’re on their phones in public. And it really ain’t something they should be braggin’ about for way too many reasons. And if that hand comes up in my face when someone’s on a call or gettin’ a text I just say, “Step aside. Next person please!”

Isn’t that the truth! Why do phone users have to use them in public, around other people… and talk so loudly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My sister (who was outspoken enough for two people) once approached a man in a fast food place and handed him a paper napkin on which she’d jotted some notes. “Do you realize that every person in here knows your client’s name, address, and Social Security number?” The man got red in the face and stormed out.

This is why every doctor’s office I’ve been in recently has a sign by the front door to the effect of “NO CELL PHONE USE ALLOWED.” Doesn’t stop some people from doing it, sad to say…

Pluggers long for the days when you didn’t discuss personal issues on the phone or in public. TV adds weren’t about erectile dysfunction, crooked penises, irritable bowels, painful sex after menopause, the wrong size “pad”, adult diapers…JUST STOP! Nobody wants to hear your problems at 150 decibels! You’re not as important as you think you are!
