At my age it is easy to find my limits.

Every task has a close place to dilly-dally.

What about “putzing around”? Which I believe means “to be unproductively busy”.

Coach – "You LOLLYGAG down to first base. You LOLLYGAG in the outfield. You know what that makes you? Larry!

    Larry – “Lollygaggers.”

As a Plugger it is’t dilly-dallying, or lollygaging, it’s contemplating the world or universe.

It’s the Plugger version of Auguste Rodin’s The Thinker.

Pluggers are not lazy. Pluggers know how to show up on time (early) & put in an honest days’ work.

Pausing to reflect. Considering options. Wondering if you left your house keys on the kitchen table or dropped them somewhere in the park.

Nah I very definitely dawdle and dilly dally, well unless food or beer is involved in which case its 100% motivation.

I watched a show from the UK and the term of waffling is added to the vocabulary.

I can’t handle all those multi-syllable words. It’s, “rest” and “nap”. The difference being whether I’m lying down or sitting. If it’s dark outside, it’s “sleep”.

I am catching my breath, lowering my heart rate, stretching my back, relieving pressure on my knees and hips, unloading my arches, and meditating until my mind is clear enough to see through. Then, I’ll take a nap.

I twiddle my thumbs, but that’s mostly for the aerobic work out.

Don’t even get me started on shilly-shallying. :)

I get the most done when I am “pottering around”.
